Overwhelming (Al-Ghaasheyah)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Hath there come unto thee the story of the Enveloping Event? 1 Many a face will be disgraced on that day. 2 labouring, weary, 3 Scorched by burning fire, 4 watered at a boiling fountain, 5 There is no food for them except thorns of fire. 6 which will neither fatten them nor satisfy them. 7 [Other] faces, that Day, will show pleasure. 8 Glad for their effort past, 9 They shall be in a Garden lofty: 10 Wherein they will hear no unsuitable speech. 11 Therein will be a bubbling spring: 12 and raised couches, 13 and prepared goblets, 14 cushions ranged, 15 And rich carpets spread. 16 What, do they not reflect upon how the camel was created? 17 and on the sky, how it is raised aloft, 18 how the mountains were hoisted, 19 how the earth was outstretched? 20 Therefore remind, you are only a Reminder. 21 Thou art not one to manage (men's) affairs. 22 Save the one who turns away and disbelieves 23 In which case he will be punished by God with the severest punishment. 24 For to Us will be their return; 25 And Ours their reckoning. 26

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
