The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

By (the horses) that charge snorting, 1 Striking stones with their hooves, sparking fire. 2 And raiding at dawn 3 And raise the dust in clouds the while, 4 thereby storming [blindly] into any host! 5 Truly man is, to his Lord, ungrateful; 6 And is himself witness to it, 7 And indeed he loves wealth to the extreme. 8 ۞ Knoweth he not - when that which is in the graves shall be ransacked? 9 and all that is [hidden] in men's hearts is bared 10 Most surely their Lord that day shall be fully aware of them. 11

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
