And this (Qur'an) is a revelation from the Lord of all the worlds, 192 the Faithful Spirit has brought it down 193 upon your heart (Prophet Muhammad), in order to be one of the warners, 194 (a revelation) in clear Arabic language, 195 And verily, it (the Quran, and its revelation to Prophet Muhammad SAW) is (announced) in the Scriptures [i.e. the Taurat (Torah) and the Injeel (Gospel)] of former people. 196 Is it not a sign to them that the learned men of the Israelites know it? 197 Had We revealed it to any one of the non-Arabs, 198 and he had recited it to them, they would not have believed in it. 199 Thus have We caused this (Admonition) to penetrate the hearts of the culprits (like a hot rod). 200 They will not believe it until they behold the painful punishment. 201 so that it will come upon them suddenly, while they are unaware, 202 and then they will exclaim, "Could we have a respite?" 203 Seek haste then they with our torment? 204 Think! If We let them enjoy life for some years, 205 then there comes on them that they were promised, 206 none of their luxuries will be able to save them from the torment? 207 Never have We destroyed a town without sending down messengers to warn it, 208 To remind, and We are never unjust. 209 It was not the satans who brought it down: 210 It is not meet for them, nor is it in their power, 211 verily, [even] from hearing it are they utterly debarred! 212 So invoke not with Allah another ilah (god) lest you be among those who receive punishment. 213 Warn your tribe and your near kinsmen. 214 And lower thou thy wing unto those who follow thee as believers. 215 then, if they disobey thee, say, 'I am quit of that you do.' 216 And rely on the Mighty, the Merciful, 217 Who seeth thee standing forth (in prayer), 218 And your movements among those who fall prostrate (along with you to Allah in the five compulsory congregational prayers). 219 He is all-hearing and all-knowing. 220 Shall I declare unto you upon whom the satans descend! 221 They descend on every lying, wicked person, 222 The satans try to listen to the heavens but many of them are liars. 223 As for the poets, only those who go astray follow them. 224 Do you not see that in every valley they roam 225 And that they say that which they do not? 226 Except those who believe (in the Oneness of Allah Islamic Monotheism), and do righteous deeds, and remember Allah much, and reply back (in poetry) to the unjust poetry (which the pagan poets utter against the Muslims). And those who do wrong will come to know by what overturning they will be overturned. 227
God the Almighty always says the truth.
