Say (unto them, O Muhammad): I am only a warner, and there is no Allah save Allah, the One, the Absolute, 65 the Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is in between them, the Most Mighty, the Most Forgiving.” 66 Say thou: it is a tiding mighty. 67 from which you are turning away.” 68 I had no knowledge of the chiefs on high when they disputed; 69 it has only been revealed to me that I am a plain warner." 70 [For,] lo, thy Sustainer said unto the angels: "Behold, I am about to create a human being out of clay; 71 and when I give it proper shape and blow My spirit into it, bow down in prostration to him," 72 So all the angels prostrated themselves 73 But not Iblis: he was proud and he was one of the unbelievers. 74 The Lord said: “O Iblis, what prevented you from prostrating yourself before him whom I created of My Two Hands. Are you waxing proud, or fancy yourself to be too exalted?” 75 Said he, 'I am better than he; Thou createdst me of fire, and him Thou createdst of clay.' 76 "Begone! You are accursed: 77 Upon you will be My damnation till the Day of Doom." 78 He said, "My Lord, then reprieve me until the Day they are resurrected." 79 (God) said: "You have the respite 80 till the Appointed Day." 81 [Iblees] said, "By your might, I will surely mislead them all 82 except those of Your servants, the chosen ones from amongst them.” 83 He (Allah) said: 'This is the truth, and I speak the truth: 84 That I shall fill Hell with thee and such of them as shall follow thee, all together. 85 Say thou: I ask of you for it no hire, nor am I of the affecters. 86 this is simply an admonition to mankind, 87 and after a while you shall know its news' 88
