۞ Say thou: my bondmen who have committed extravagance against themselves despair not of the mercy of Allah; verily Allah will forgive the sins altogether. Verily He! He is the Forgiving, the Merciful. 53 Turn towards your Lord and obey Him before the punishment comes upon you when you will not be helped. 54 Follow the best of what is revealed to you from your Lord before the torment suddenly approaches you and you will not realize how it came about. 55 So that no soul may say, “Alas! The failures that I committed regarding Allah – and indeed I used to mock!” 56 Or should say: If Allah had but guided me I should have been among the dutiful! 57 Or (so that no soul) may say when it beholds the punishment, “If only I may be sent back, so that I may do good deeds!” 58 No indeed! My revelations did come to you, but you rejected them: you showed arrogance, and were among those who deny the truth." 59 And you will see on the Day of Resurrection the fabricators of lies against Allah, with their faces blackened; is not the destination of the haughty in hell? 60 But Allah will deliver the righteous to their place of salvation: no evil shall touch them, nor shall they grieve. 61 Allah is the Creator of every thing and He has charge over every thing. 62 To Him belong the keys of the heavens and the earth. And they who disbelieve in the verses of Allah - it is those who are the losers. 63
