The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By the chargers panting, 1 Striking stones with their hooves, sparking fire. 2 rushing to assault at morn, 3 raising a trail of dust, 4 which engulfs the enemy. 5 surely, man is ungrateful to his Lord. 6 And to that fact he bears witness (by his deeds); 7 And verily, he is violent in the love of wealth. 8 ۞ Knows he not that when that which is in the tombs is over-thrown, 9 And the hearts' contents shall be brought into the open? 10 surely on that day their Lord shall be aware of them! 11
God the Almighty always says the truth.
