What aileth those who disbelieve, that they keep staring toward thee (O Muhammad), open-eyed, 36 on the right and on the left in groups? 37 Does every one of them wish to enter the garden of tranquility? 38 By no means! Surely We have created them of what they know. 39 I do not need to swear by the Lord of the eastern and western regions that We have certainly all the power 40 To bring instead (others) better than them, and We shall not be overcome. 41 Wherefore let thou them alone plunging in vanity and sporting until they meet their Day which they are promised. 42 the Day when they rush out of their graves as if racing towards a signpost, 43 with their eyes cast down and covered by disgrace; the day about which they were promised. 44
