Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By (the horses) that charge snorting, 1 by the strikers of fire, 2 And the chargers at dawn, 3 and blaze a trail of dust, 4 Penetrating forthwith as one into the midst (of the foe); 5 That man is ungrateful to his Lord 6 And most surely he is a witness of that. 7 And indeed he is, in love of wealth, intense. 8 ۞ Knoweth he not - when that which is in the graves shall be ransacked? 9 And all what lies in the breasts is opened – 10 their Lord will examine his deeds? 11
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
