۞ And assuredly We vouchsafed unto Ibrahim his rectitude aforetime, and him We had ever known. 51 Recall what time he said unto his father and his people: what are these images to which ye are cleaving? 52 They said: We found our fathers worshipping them. 53 He said: 'Truly, you and your fathers are in clear error' 54 They asked: "Hast thou come unto us [with this claim] in all earnest - or art thou one of those jesters?" 55 He said: "In fact it was your Lord, the Lord of the heavens and the earth, who created them; and I bear witness to this. 56 "And by Allah, I have a plan for your idols - after ye go away and turn your backs".. 57 So he broke them to pieces, (all) except the biggest of them, that they might turn to it. 58 "Who has done this to our deities? He must be a wrongdoer." 59 They said: "We heard a youth talk about them. He is called Abraham." 60 They said: 'Then bring him here so that the people may see, so that they may bear witness' 61 "Did you do this to our gods, O Abraham?" they enquired. 62 He said: Surely (some doer) has done it; the chief of them is this, therefore ask them, if they can speak. 63 So they turned to themselves and said, "Surely ye are the ones in the wrong!" 64 Then they reversed themselves, [saying], "You have already known that these do not speak!" 65 He said: 'Would you then worship that, instead of Allah, which can neither help nor harm you? 66 Shame on you and on that you worship other than Allah! Have you no understanding' 67 They said, “Burn him and help your Gods, if you want to.” 68 'O Fire' We said, 'be coolness and safety for Abraham' 69 And they wanted to harm him, but We made them the worst losers. 70 So We delivered him and Lot, and brought them to the land We had blessed for all the people. 71 And We bestowed upon him Ishaque (Isaac), and (a grandson) Ya'qub (Jacob). Each one We made righteous. 72 We made them leaders who guided people by Our command. We revealed to them the doing of good, observance of prayer and the giving of alms and Us alone did they worship. 73 And (remember) Lout (Lot), We gave him Hukman (right judgement of the affairs and Prophethood) and (religious) knowledge, and We saved him from the town (folk) who practised Al-Khaba'ith (evil, wicked and filthy deeds, etc.). Verily, they were a people given to evil, and were Fasiqun (rebellious, disobedient, to Allah). 74 We admitted him to Our Mercy, he was among the righteous. 75

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
