"Truly! The Muttaqun (pious and righteous persons - see V. 2:2) will be amidst Gardens and water-springs (Paradise). 45 "(It will be said to them): 'Enter therein (Paradise), in peace and security.' 46 We shall remove all rancor from their hearts, and as brethren they shall recline on couches face to face. 47 Toil shall not afflict them in it, nor shall they be ever ejected from it. 48 ۞ (Muhammad), tell My servants that I am All-forgiving and All-merciful 49 and [also,] that the suffering which I shall impose [on sinners] will indeed be a suffering most grievous. 50 Tell them about the guests of Abraham 51 When they entered upon him, they said, Peace. He said: Surely we are afraid of you. 52 They said: Be not afraid! Lo! we bring thee good tidings of a boy possessing wisdom. 53 Abraham asked, "Are you giving me the glad news of a son in my old age? What reason can you give for such glad news?" 54 They said: We bring thee good tidings in truth. So be not thou of the despairing. 55 He replied: 'And who despairs of the mercy of his Lord, except those that are astray? 56 He said: And afterward what is your business, O ye messengers (of Allah)? 57 They said, "Indeed, we have been sent to a people of criminals, 58 "(All) except the family of Lout (Lot). Them all we are surely going to save (from destruction). 59 But not his wife; we have decreed that she will be of those staying behind. 60
