Say: I am only a warner, and there is no god but Allah, the One, the Subduer (of all): 65 Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that lies between them, all-mighty, all-forgiving." 66 Say thou: it is a tiding mighty. 67 Whence ye turn away! 68 [Say, O Muhammad:] "No knowledge would I have had of [what passed among] the host on high when they argued [against the creation of man,] 69 Naught is revealed unto me except that I am a warner manifest. 70 [For,] lo, thy Sustainer said unto the angels: "Behold, I am about to create a human being out of clay; 71 When I have shaped him, and breathed My spirit in him, fall you down, bowing before him!' 72 Thereupon the angels prostrated themselves, all of them together, 73 Saving Iblis; he was scornful and became one of the disbelievers. 74 He (Allah) said: 'iblis, what prevented you from prostrating yourself towards that which I have created with My Hands? Have you become too proud, or are you among the grand' 75 He said: I am better than he: me Thou hast created of fire, and him Thou hast created of clay. 76 Said He: "Go forth, then, from this [angelic state] - for, behold, thou art henceforth accursed, 77 "And My curse shall be on thee till the Day of Judgment." 78 But Satan said, "My Lord, grant me respite until the Day of Resurrection," 79 He said: Surely you are of the respited ones, 80 Until the day of the time appointed. 81 [Iblees] said, "By your might, I will surely mislead them all 82 "Except Thy Servants amongst them, sincere and purified (by Thy Grace)." 83 [And God] said: "This, then, is the truth! And this truth do I state: 84 I will fill up Hell with you together with those who follow you." 85 (Muhammad), say, "I do not ask any reward for my preaching to you for I am not a pretender. 86 It is nothing but a reminder to the nations; 87 You will know the truth of the matter after a while.” 88
