۞ Allah says: 'Do not take to yourself two gods. He is only One God; so have awe of Me' 51 To Him belongs all that is in the heavens and the earth. God's retribution is severe. Should you then have fear of anyone other than God? 52 And whatever you have of favor - it is from Allah. Then when adversity touches you, to Him you cry for help. 53 Then, when He removes the affliction from you, lo, a party of you assign associates to their Lord, 54 So as to deny what We have bestowed on them. Well, enjoy yourselves, you will come to know soon. 55 And they assign to what they do not know a portion of that which We have provided them. By Allah, you will surely be questioned about what you used to invent. 56 And they assign unto Allah daughters - Be He Glorified! - and unto themselves what they desire; 57 When news is brought to one of them, of (the birth of) a female (child), his face darkens, and he is filled with inward grief! 58 With shame does he hide himself from his people, because of the bad news he has had! Shall he retain it on (sufferance and) contempt, or bury it in the dust? Ah! what an evil (choice) they decide on? 59 Those who do not believe in the Hereafter deserve to be characterized with evil attributes whereas Allah's are the most excellent attributes. He is the Most Mighty, the Most Wise. 60
