3/4 Hizb 45

And assuredly Nuh cried unto us; and We are the Best of answerers! 75 And We delivered him and his people from the Great Calamity, 76 And his offspring! them We made the survivors. 77 And We kept his praise among the latter generations. 78 Peace be upon Noah among all the nations. 79 Even so We recompense the good-doers; 80 For he was one of our believing Servants. 81 Then We did drown the others. 82 ۞ Verily among those who followed his Way was Abraham. 83 When he came unto his Lord with a whole heart; 84 and said to his father and his people: “Whom do you worship? 85 It is falsehood that you desire gods other than Allah! 86 What do you think of the Lord of the Worlds' 87 And he glanced a glance at the stars 88 and he said, 'Surely I am sick.' 89 So they went away from him, turning back. 90 Then turned he to their gods and said: Will ye not eat? 91 "What is the matter with you that ye speak not (intelligently)?" 92 Then he started striking them down with his right hand. 93 So the disbelievers came running towards him. 94 He said, "Do you worship that which you [yourselves] carve, 95 while it is Allah Who has created you and all that you make?” 96 They spoke among themselves: “Build him a pyre and then throw him into the furnace.” 97 So they tried to execute their evil scheme upon him We therefore degraded them. (Allah saved him, by commanding the fire to turn cool). 98 And he said, “Indeed I shall go to my Lord Who will guide me.” 99 “My Lord! Give me a meritorious child.” 100 (In response to this prayer) We gave him the good news of a prudent boy; 101 And when he attained the age of running with him, he said: O my son! verily I have seen in a dream that I am slaughtering thee; so look, what considerest thou? He said: O my father! do that which thou art commanded; thou shalt find me, Allah willing, of the patients. 102 When they had both submitted to God, and he had laid his son down on his face, 103 We called to him, "O Abraham, 104 "Thou hast already fulfilled the vision!" - thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 105 It was certainly an open trial. 106 We ransomed his son with a great sacrifice 107 And left (his hallowed memory) for posterity. 108 "Peace and salutation to Abraham!" 109 That is how We recompense the righteous: 110 He was one of Our believing servants. 111 And We gave him the glad tidings of Ishaque (Isaac) a Prophet from the righteous. 112 We had blessed him and Isaac. Some of their offspring were righteous and others were openly unjust to themselves. 113
