Hizb 46
< random >
Jonah was certainly a Messenger. 139 Call to mind when he fled to the laden ship, 140 and cast lots, and he was among the losers (of the lots that were cast). 141 Then the fish swallowed him, while he was blameworthy. 142 But had it not been that he was of those who glorify (Us), 143 He would have remained inside its belly until the Day they are resurrected. 144 ۞ We then put him ashore on a plain, and he was sick. 145 And We caused to grow over him a tree, a gourd. 146 and We sent him forth to a nation of a hundred thousand or more, 147 And they believed; so We permitted them to enjoy (their life) for a while. 148 So ask them for a pronouncement -- Has thy Lord daughters, and they sons? 149 Or created We the angels females while they were present? 150 It is only because of their false invention that they say, 151 That “Allah has offspring”; and indeed, surely, they are liars. 152 Did He choose daughters rather than sons? 153 What is the matter with you? How do you judge? 154 “So do you not ponder?” 155 Or have ye an authority manifest? 156 Then bring your book, if ye say sooth. 157 They have established a kinship between Allah and the angels; and the angels know well that these people will be arraigned (as culprits). 158 Glory to Allah! (He is free) from the things they ascribe (to Him)! 159 Except the chosen servants of Allah [who do not share in that sin]. 160 So you and your deities 161 Can mislead anyone away from Him, 162 Except such as are (themselves) going to the blazing Fire! 163 (Those ranged in ranks say): "Not one of us but has a place appointed; 164 We are surely those who are arranged in ranks. 165 “And indeed we are those who say His purity.” 166 And indeed they used to say: 167 If we had the account of earlier people with us, 168 we would surely have been Allah's chosen servants.” 169 Yet they disbelieve therein. Presently they shall come to know. 170 We have already given Our promise to Our Messengers 171 [That] indeed, they would be those given victory 172 and Our armies shall be the victors. 173 So you ignore them for a time 174 and see them; soon they shall see! 175 Do they really wish to hasten Our punishment? 176 But when it descends into the open space before them, evil will be the morning for those who were warned (and heeded not)! 177 And turn thou aside from them for a season. 178 And see, for they are going to see. 179 Too glorious is your Lord, the Lord of power, for what they ascribe to Him. 180 and peace be upon the Messengers, 181 and praise belongs to God, the Lord of all Being. 182
True are the words of God the Almighty.

Notes and Instructions
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
