So is one whose breast Allah has expanded to [accept] Islam and he is upon a light from his Lord [like one whose heart rejects it]? Then woe to those whose hearts are hardened against the remembrance of Allah. Those are in manifest error. 22 Allah has revealed the best announcement, a book conformable in its various parts, repeating, whereat do shudder the skins of those who fear their Lord, then their skins and their hearts become pliant to the remembrance of Allah; this is Allah's guidance, He guides with it whom He pleases; and (as for) him whom Allah makes err, there is no guide for him. 23 Is he then, who will confront with his face the awful torment on the Day of Resurrection (as he who enters peacefully in Paradise)? And it will be said to the Zalimun (polytheists and wrong-doers, etc.): "Taste what you used to earn!" 24 Their predecessors gave the lie to the Truth and then chastisement came upon them from whence they could not imagine. 25 Allah let them taste degradation in this present life, but the punishment of the Everlasting Life shall be greater if they but knew. 26 And indeed We have put forth for men, in this Quran every kind of similitude in order that they may remember. 27 An Arabic Qur'an, wherein there is no crookedness, that haply they may fear. 28 Allah has struck an example of a man shared by disagreeing partners, and a man who is owned by just one man, are the two equally alike? Praise belongs to Allah, but most of them do not know. 29 Surely you shall die and they (too) shall surely die. 30 Then on the Day of Resurrection you will dispute before your Lord. 31
