We built the heaven with might, and We widely extended it. 47 We spread the earth a carpet; what comfort We provide! 48 and We created pairs of all things so that you might reflect. 49 Flee, therefore, to Allah. Surely I am a clear warner to you from Him; 50 Do not set up with Allah another god. I am a clear warner to you from Him. 51 Thus there did not come to those before them an apostle but they said: A magician or a mad man. 52 What! Have they willed this utterance to one another? In fact they are a rebellious people. 53 (Muhammad), leave them alone and you will not be blamed. 54 And admonish, for verily admonition profiteth the believers. 55 And I did not create the jinn and mankind except to worship Me. 56 I do not ask any sustenance from them, nor wish that they give Me food. 57 For Allah is He Who gives (all) Sustenance,- Lord of Power,- Steadfast (for ever). 58 And lo! for those who (now) do wrong there is an evil day like unto the evil day (which came for) their likes (of old); so let them not ask Me to hasten on (that day). 59 Woe, then, to the Unbelievers, on account of that Day of theirs which they have been promised! 60
