Now surely, unto Pharaoh's folk [too] came such warnings; 41 They, too, rejected all Our signs. So We seized them with the seizure of One Mighty, Omnipotent. 42 Are you disbelievers mightier than those of the nations which We destroyed before or have you received amnesty through the ancient Scriptures? 43 Or do they say: We are a host allied together to help each other? 44 Their multitude will be put to flight, and they will show their backs. 45 Nay, the hour is their promised time, and the hour shall be most grievous and bitter. 46 Indeed the criminals are astray and insane. 47 On the day when they are dragged upon their faces in the fire “Taste the heat of hell.” 48 Lo! We have created every thing by measure. 49 And Our Commandment is but one, as the twinkling of an eye. 50 And certainly We have already destroyed the likes of you, but is there anyone who will mind? 51 All their deeds are in the Scrolls, 52 everything large or small, is duly inscribed. 53 Surely those who guard (against evil) shall be in gardens and rivers, 54 In the seat of honor with a most Powerful King. 55
True are the words of God the Almighty.
