But what is the matter with those who deny the truth, that they come hastening towards you 36 towards thee on the right hand and on the left hand in knots? 37 Does every man of them desire that he should be made to enter the garden of bliss? 38 By no means! verily We! We have created them from that which they know. 39 No! I swear by the Lord of the Easts and Wests, surely We are able 40 to replace them with [people] better than they are; for there is nothing to prevent Us [from doing what We will]. 41 Hence, leave them to indulge in idle talk and play [with words] until they face that [Judgment] Day of theirs which they have been promised 42 The day when they will come out of their graves in all haste as though rushing to their altars, 43 With eyes aghast, abasement stupefying them: Such is the Day which they are promised. 44
