By the moon, 32 And by the night when it withdraws, 33 And by oath of the morning, when it spreads light. 34 Indeed hell is one of the greatest entities. 35 It is a warning for mankind 36 to whoever of you desires to go forward or lag behind. 37 [On the Day of Judgment,] every human being will be held in pledge for whatever [evil] he has wrought 38 Except the people of the right hand, 39 In Gardens (Paradise) they will ask one another, 40 concerning the sinners, 41 “What drove you to Hell?” 42 They will answer: “We were not among those who observed Prayer, 43 And we used not to feed the poor; 44 We used to wade (in vain dispute) with (all) waders, 45 And we used to call the day of judgment a lie; 46 till the certainty (death) overtook us' 47 So no intercession of intercessors will be of any use to them. 48 Then what is wrong with them (i.e. the disbelievers) that they turn away from (receiving) admonition? 49 As if they were alarmed donkeys 50 fleeing from a lion? 51 Rather, every person among them desires that he would be given scriptures spread about. 52 Nay! But they fear not the Hereafter (from Allah's punishment). 53 Nay, verily. Lo! this is an Admonishment. 54 Let him who will take heed: 55 And they will not mind unless Allah please. He is worthy to be feared and worthy to forgive. 56
