Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
By the (Winds) sent forth one after another (to man's profit); 1 Then by oath of those that push with a strong gust. 2 Which scatter clouds to their destined places, 3 Then by those that clearly differentiate the right and wrong. 4 and those (angels) dropping, reminding 5 Whether of Justification or of Warning;- 6 BEHOLD, all that you are told to expect will surely come to pass. 7 When the stars shall be extinguished, 8 And when the sky is riven asunder, 9 And when the mountains are blown away 10 and when the Messengers' time is set 11 For what day is it timed? 12 For the Day of Decision. 13 Would that you knew what the Day of Decision is! 14 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth. 15 Did We not destroy the earlier people? 16 So shall We make the later ones to follow them. 17 [for] thus do We deal with such as are lost in sin. 18 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth! 19 Did We not create you from an insignificant drop of fluid 20 Which We placed in a depository safe. 21 For a known calculated term. 22 So We decreed. How excellent are We as decreers! 23 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 24 Have We not made the earth to draw together to itself, 25 Both for the living and the dead, 26 Set We not therein soaring mountains? Sated you with sweetest water? 27 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 28 Proceed to that which you denied. 29 Depart unto the shadow three branched: 30 "(Which yields) no shade of coolness, and is of no use against the fierce Blaze. 31 Verily it shall cast forth sparks like unto a castle. 32 and yellow camels. 33 Woe on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth 34 that Day on which they will not [be able to] utter a word, 35 neither be given leave, and excuse themselves. 36 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 37 'This is the Day of Decision; We have joined you with the ancients; 38 and if you [think that you] have a subterfuge left, try to outwit Me!" 39 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 40
