The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
29 verses, revealed in Mecca after Thorns (Al-Masad) before The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
When the sun is covered, 1 the stars are made to fade away, 2 and when the mountains are made to vanish, 3 And when the pregnant she-camels shall be neglected; 4 the wild beasts are herded together, 5 When the oceans surge and swell, 6 And when the souls are paired. 7 And when the girl-child that was buried alive is asked 8 for what sin she was killed, 9 And when the Writs shall be lain open, 10 And when the sky is stripped away 11 when Hell shall be set blazing, 12 And Paradise brought near, 13 Every soul will then come know what it has brought. 14 But nay! I swear by the stars, 15 Those that run [their courses] and disappear - 16 And by the night as it departs; 17 And by the dawn as it brightens; 18 it is indeed the word of an Honorable Messenger, 19 The mighty, the honoured in the presence of the Lord of the Throne. 20 (One) to be obeyed, and trustworthy; 21 Your companion is not one possessed: 22 And indeed he saw him on the clear horizon. (Prophet Mohammed saw Angel Jibreel in his true shape peace and blessings be upon them). 23 He is not avid of the Unseen. 24 Nor is it the word of the cursed Shaitan, 25 Where then are you going? 26 It is not except a reminder to the worlds 27 So let those who want, choose the right guidance 28 And you do not please except that Allah please, the Lord of the worlds. 29
Almighty God's Truth.
