The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful

By the glorious morning light; 1 And by oath of the night when it covers, 2 Thy Guardian-Lord hath not forsaken thee, nor is He displeased. 3 And verily the latter portion will be better for thee than the former, 4 And indeed, in time will thy Sustainer grant thee [what thy heart desires,] and thou shalt be well-pleased. 5 Did He not find you an orphan and take care of you? 6 And found you deeply engrossed in His love, so directed you? 7 Did He not find you poor and enrich you? 8 Do not oppress the orphans 9 And as for him who asks, do not chide (him), 10 And as to the favour of thine Lord, discourse thou thereof. 11

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
