Charity (Al-Maa'oon)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
HAST THOU ever considered [the kind of man] who gives the lie to all moral law? 1 That is he who repelleth the orphan, 2 And does not induce others to feed the needy. 3 Woe, then, unto those praying ones 4 who are heedless of their prayers (delaying them from their prescribed times), 5 Those who make a display (of their deeds). 6 and prevent the utensils of assistance. 7
