And the dwellers in Al-Hijr denied (Our) messengers. 80 We sent them Our Signs, but they persisted in turning away from them. 81 And they used to carve dwellings in the hills, without fear. 82 But the shriek seized them at early morning. 83 And that which they were wont to count as gain availed them not. 84 We created not the heavens, the earth, and all between them, but for just ends. And the Hour is surely coming (when this will be manifest). So overlook (any human faults) with gracious forgiveness. 85 Verily, your Lord is the All-Knowing Creator. 86 AND, INDEED, We have bestowed upon thee seven of the oft repeated [verses,] and [have, thus, laid open before thee] this sublime Qur'an: 87 Do not even cast your eyes towards the worldly goods We have granted to different kinds of people, nor grieve over the state they are in, but turn your loving attention to the believers instead, 88 And say: Surely I am the plain warner. 89 Such as We send down for those who make division, 90 those who had split up their Qur'an into pieces. 91 So, by your Lord (O Muhammad SAW), We shall certainly call all of them to account. 92 About their deeds. 93 Therefore proclaim openly (Allah's Message Islamic Monotheism) that which you are commanded, and turn away from Al-Mushrikun (polytheists, idolaters, and disbelievers, etc. - see V. 2:105). 94 For sufficient are We unto thee against those who scoff,- 95 those who set up another deity alongside Allah. They shall soon come to know. 96 And We already know that your breast is constrained by what they say. 97 So exalt [Allah] with praise of your Lord and be of those who prostrate [to Him]. 98 and worship thy Sustainer till death comes to thee. 99
