The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
By those who set the ranks in battle order 1 by those who reprove severely, 2 and by the reciters of the Reminder: 3 surely your God is One, 4 the Lord of the heavens and the earth and of all that is between them; the Lord of the Easts. 5 We have adorned the lowest heaven with the beauty of the planets; 6 Protecting them against every wayward devil, 7 so they cannot listen to the High Assembly, for they are pelted from every side. 8 rejected, and theirs is an everlasting chastisement, 9 Except him who snatches off but once, then there follows him a brightly shining flame. 10 Then ask them (i.e. these polytheists, O Muhammad SAW): "Are they stronger as creation, or those (others like the heavens and the earth and the mountains, etc.) whom We have created?" Verily, We created them of a sticky clay. 11 Truly dost thou marvel, while they ridicule, 12 And when they are reminded, they pay no attention. 13 and whenever they see some sign, they ridicule it, 14 and say: “This is nothing but plain sorcery. 15 When we have died and become dust and bones, are we indeed to be resurrected? 16 along with our forefathers?" 17 Say: 'Yes, and in all lowliness.' 18 The Day of Judgment will come within a single roar and they will remain gazing at it. 19 And will say, “O our misfortune!” It will be said to them, “This is the Day of Justice.” 20 "(Yes,) this is the Day of Judgement you had called a lie." 21
