The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ When there happeneth the Event. 1 there is no denying its coming 2 Degrading (some) and exalting (others); 3 when the earth shall be rocked 4 and the mountains crumbled 5 so that they become as scattered dust 6 And ye shall be sorted out into three classes. 7 Those on the Right -- how blessed are those on the Right! 8 And (as to) the companions of the left hand; how wretched are the companions of the left hand! 9 The foremost ones (in faith and virtue) - the foremost ones in receiving their reward. 10 (The foremost ones) will be the nearest ones to God 11 In the Gardens of delight (Paradise). 12 A number of people from those of old, 13 And a few of later ages, 14 On thrones decorated, 15 Reclining thereon, face to face. 16 (and there) shall wait on them immortal youths 17 Cups and decanters, beakers full of sparkling wine, 18 Wherefrom they will get neither any aching of the head, nor any intoxication. 19 they will also go about them with the fruits of which they may choose, 20 And with flesh of fowls from that which they desire. 21 and fair maidens with large, lustrous eyes 22 beautiful as pearls hidden in their shells. 23 a recompense for all that they did. 24 Therein they shall hear no idle talk, no cause of sin, 25 Only a saying: "Peace, peace." 26 And the fellows on the right hand; how be happy shall the fellows on the right hand be! 27 [They, too, will find themselves] amidst fruit laden lote-trees, 28 And plantains laden with fruit. 29 In shade long-extended, 30 and outpoured waters, 31 and abundant fruit, 32 Whose season is not limited, and their supply will not be cut off, 33 And maidens incomparable. 34 Lo! We have created them a (new) creation 35 And made them virginal, 36 full of love, well-matched 37 For the Companions of the Right Hand. 38

Notes and Instructions
There are memorization exercises for the original Arabic and English transliterated Arabic modes only. The English translation mode has no memorization exercises.
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
