Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the snorting runners (the horses), 1 And striking off fire by dashing their hoofs. 2 Then those that make raids at morn, 3 Then, therewith, with their trail of dust, 4 dividing the gathering. 5 Truly man is, to his Lord, ungrateful; 6 and to this, behold, he [himself] bears witness indeed: 7 And is intractable in his love of worldly goods. 8 ۞ Is he not aware of the time when the contents of the graves will be brought out? 9 and that which is in the chest is brought out, 10 their Lord will examine his deeds? 11
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
