Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ No! I swear by the fallings of the stars 75 And this surely is great evidence if you can understand -- 76 That it is a Recitation honourable. 77 In a Book kept hidden 78 which none can touch except the purified. 79 a revelation from the Lord of the Universe. 80 What, do you hold this discourse in disdain, 81 And you make its denial your share? 82 Why, then, when (the soul) cometh up to the throat (of the dying) 83 the while you are helplessly watching that he is on the verge of death, 84 - And We are nearer unto him than ye are, but ye see not - 85 why, then, if you are not subject to Our command, 86 That you send it (not) back-- if you are truthful? 87 Thus, then, if he be of those Nearest to Allah, 88 then happiness and delight and Gardens of Bliss are his. 89 And if he is one of those on the right hand, 90 'Peace be upon thee, Companion of the Right!' 91 And if he is from the deniers, the astray, – 92 For him is Entertainment with Boiling Water. 93 and the heat of hell fire. 94 Indeed, this is the certain truth. 95 So glorify the name of your Lord, the Great One. 96
