Remember also Our servant Job; when he called to his Lord, 'Behold, Satan has visited me with weariness and chastisement.' 41 [So he was told], "Strike [the ground] with your foot; this is a [spring for] a cool bath and drink." 42 And We bestowed upon him new offspring, doubling their number as an act of grace from Us, and as a reminder unto all who are endowed with insight. 43 "And take in thy hand a little grass, and strike therewith: and break not (thy oath)." Truly We found him full of patience and constancy. How excellent in Our service! ever did he turn (to Us)! 44 And commemorate Our Servants Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, possessors of Power and Vision. 45 Verily We did choose them for a special (purpose)- proclaiming the Message of the Hereafter. 46 In Our eyes they were of the chosen, virtuous people. 47 Also, remember our worshipers Ishmael, Elisha, and ThulKifl, they are among the good. 48 This is an admonition, and verily for the God-fearing is a happy retreat: 49 Gardens of Eden, whereof the gates are open to them, 50 They will be resting therein and will be able to ask for many kinds of fruit and drink. 51 ۞ They will have bashful wives of equal age with them. 52 This is what you, [the righteous], are promised for the Day of Account. 53 this is Our unending provision' 54 However, the rebellious ones will have the worst place to return. 55 Hell, wherein they roast: a wretched couch. 56 This (shall be so); so let them taste it, boiling and intensely cold (drink). 57 And other similar torments. 58 Here is an army rushing blindly with you. (Those who are already in the Fire say): No word of welcome for them. Lo! they will roast at the Fire. 59 (The followers of the misleaders will say): "Nay, you (too)! No welcome for you! It is you (misleaders) who brought this upon us (because you misled us in the world), so evil is this place to stay in!" 60 They will continue saying, "Lord, double the torment of fire for those who led us into this. 61 And will add: "O what has happened to us that we do not see the men we counted among the wicked. 62 Did we take them as an object of mockery, or have (our) eyes failed to perceive them?" 63 Indeed this is really true – the people of the hell quarrelling among themselves. 64
