The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
I CALL TO witness the sky (bespangled) with the signs of the Zodiac, 1 And by the Day promised, 2 By one that witnesses, and the subject of the witness;- 3 That accursed are the men of the trench 4 Of fire fuel-fed, 5 As they sat around it 6 and were witnessing what they did to the believers. 7 They had nothing against them, except that they believed in Allah, the All-Mighty, Worthy of all Praise! 8 Whose kingdom spreads over the heavens and the earth. God is witness over everything. 9 Those who persecute the believing men and women without repenting will suffer the torment of hell and that of the burning fire. 10 Surely for those who believe and do the right are gardens with rivers running by. That is the greatest success. 11 VERILY, thy Sustainer's grip is exceedingly strong! 12 Behold, it is He who creates [man] in the first instance, and He [it is who] will bring him forth anew. 13 And He is Oft-Forgiving, full of love (towards the pious who are real true believers of Islamic Monotheism), 14 Lord of the Throne of Glory, 15 The great doer of what He will. 16 Has the story of the hordes 17 Pharaoh and Thamood? 18 Yet the infidels persist in denial. 19 However, God encompassed their activities. 20 Nay! This is a Glorious Quran, 21 In the Preserved Tablet. 22
