And certainly We conferred a favor on Musa and Haroun. 114 and saved them and their people from great distress. 115 And We helped them, so that they were the victors; 116 And We bestowed the clear Book to both of them. 117 And guided them to the Straight Path. 118 And We left for them [favorable mention] among later generations: 119 "Peace be upon Moses and Aaron!" 120 This is how We reward those who do good: 121 they were among Our believing servants. 122 So also was Elias among those sent (by Us). 123 He told his people, "Why do you not have fear of God? 124 Do you call upon Ba'l and leave the best of creators - 125 Allah is your Lord and the Lord of your fathers, the ancients' 126 But they denied him, so they surely will be haled forth (to the doom) 127 except for God's sincere servants; 128 And We left his (memory) for posterity. 129 Peace be on Elias. 130 Verily, thus do We reward the Muhsinun (good-doers, who perform good deeds totally for Allah's sake only - see V. 2:112). 131 He is indeed one of Our high ranking, firmly believing bondmen. 132 And verily Lut was of the sent ones. 133 Behold, We delivered him and his adherents, all 134 Except an old woman who was one of those who stayed behind. 135 and We destroyed the rest. 136 You pass by (their habitations) in the morning 137 And at night; do you not then understand? 138
