The tree of al-Zaqqum 43 shall be food for the sinners: 44 Like the dregs of all! It shall seethe in the bellies: 45 like the boiling of burning despair. 46 'Take him, and thrust him into the midst of Hell, 47 "Then pour over his head the torment of boiling water, 48 "Taste you (this)! Verily, you were (pretending to be) the mighty, the generous! 49 "Truly this is what ye used to doubt!" 50 The pious ones will be in a secure place 51 among gardens and fountains, 52 dressed in fine silk and in rich brocade, and they will face each other: 53 Even so. And We shall pair them with fair damsels large-eyed. 54 They will call therein for every [kind of] fruit - safe and secure. 55 They will not taste death therein except the first death, and He will have protected them from the punishment of Hellfire 56 By the munificence of your Lord; this is the great success. 57 Now We have made it easy by thy tongue, that haply they may remember. 58 Wait then; they too are waiting. 59
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
