Q (Qaaf)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Qaf. By the Qur'an glorious, We have sent thee as a warner. 1 Rather they were shocked that a Herald of Warning came to them from among themselves, so the disbelievers said, “This is something really strange.” 2 to come back to life after we have died and become dust? That is most improbable!" 3 We know indeed what the earth diminishes of them, and with Us is a writing that preserves. 4 Nay, but they cried lies to the truth when it came to them, and so they are in a case confused. 5 What, have they not beheld heaven above them, how We have built it, and decked it out fair, and it has no cracks? 6 We spread out the earth and set upon it firm mountains, and We cause every delightful thing to grow in it 7 As instruction and reminder to every penitent creature. 8 We also sent down blessed water from the heaven, wherewith We caused gardens and harvest-grain to grow, 9 And high date-palms with lush fruit. 10 As sustenance for (Allah's) Servants;- and We give (new) life therewith to land that is dead: Thus will be the Resurrection. 11 Before these, the people of Nooh had denied, and so did the dwellers of Rass and the Thamud. 12 and so did 'Ad, and Pharaoh and Lot's brethren, 13 the dwellers of the Thicket and the nation of Tubba', all belied their Messengers, therefore My threat was realized. 14 Were We then worn out by the first creation? Yet they are in doubt about a new creation. 15
