What ails the unbelievers, running with outstretched necks 36 In crowds, right and left? 37 What, is every man of them eager to be admitted to a Garden of Bliss? 38 Not at all, for We have created them of what they know. 39 But nay! I call to witness the Lord of the Easts and the Wests, that We have the power 40 To bring better people than they in their place; and they will not be able to thwart Us. 41 So leave them to engage in vain talk and to amuse themselves until they come face to face with the Day which they are promised, 42 the Day when they shall come out of their graves in haste, as if they were racing to a goal, 43 their eyes are humbled and they are covered with humiliation. Such is the Day that they were promised. 44
