Believers! Fear Allah as He should be feared, and see that you do not die save in the state of submission to Allah. 102 Hold fast to the cord of God and let nothing divide you. Remember the blessings He has bestowed upon you; you were enemies and then He united your hearts and by His grace you became brothers; you were on the brink of an abyss of Fire and He rescued you from it. Thus God makes His signs clear to you, so that you may find guidance. 103 And there should be a group among you that invites to goodness, and enjoins good deeds and forbids immorality; it is they who are the successful. 104 And be not like those who became divided and disagreed after clear arguments had come to them, and these it is that shall have a grievous chastisement. 105 on the Day [of Judgment] when some faces will shine [with happiness] and some faces will be dark [with grief]. And as for those with faces darkened, [they shall be told:] "Did you deny the truth after having attained to faith? Taste, then, this suffering for having denied the truth!" 106 As for those whose faces will be whitened, they shall be in the Mercy of Allah for ever. 107 These are the signs of God We recite to thee in truth, and God desires not any injustice to living beings. 108 For to God belongs all that is in the heavens and the earth, and to God do all things return. 109
