Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Competition in [worldly] increase diverts you 1 until you go down to your graves. 2 But you will come to know soon; -- 3 But you will soon come to know. 4 Indeed, were you to know the truth with certainty, 5 you would indeed, most surely, behold the blazing fire [of hell]! 6 Aye, ye will behold it with sure vision. 7 Then, on that day, you will surely be questioned regarding the favours. 8

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
End of Surah: Hoarding (Al-Takaathur). Sent down in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)
