The people of Noah rejected the Messengerss. 105 when their brother Noah said to them, 'Will you not be godfearing? 106 I am a trustworthy Messenger sent to you. 107 so serve you God, and obey you me. 108 "No reward do I ask of you for it: my reward is only from the Lord of the Worlds: 109 so fear God and obey me." 110 ۞ They answered: "Shall we accept you even though it is the meanest of people who follow you?" 111 He said, "What knowledge do I have of their doings? 112 Their account falls only upon My Lord, if you were but aware. 113 I will not drive away the believers. 114 I am none but a plain warner." 115 They said: "If you cease not, O Nuh (Noah)! You will surely be among those stoned (to death)." 116 He said: My Lord! Lo! my own folk deny me. 117 hence, lay Thou wide open the truth between me and them, and save me and those of the believers who are with me!" 118 So We saved him, and those who were with him in the laden ark, 119 and drowned the others. 120 Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers. 121 And verily thy Lord is He, the Exalted in Might, Most Merciful. 122
