In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
Ha-Mim. 1 Ain. Sin. Qaf. 2 So reveals to thee, and to those before thee, God, the All-mighty, the All-wise. 3 Whatever is in the heavens and the earth, belongs to Him. He is all-high and supreme. 4 Nearly the heavens might rent asunder from above them (by His Majesty), and the angels glorify the praises of their Lord, and ask for forgiveness for those on the earth, verily, Allah is the Oft-Forgiving, the Most Merciful. 5 As for those who take guardians for themselves, other than Him, Allah is the Warden over them. You are not a guardian over them. 6 And thus We have revealed to you an Arabic Qur'an that you may warn the Mother of Cities [Makkah] and those around it and warn of the Day of Assembly, about which there is no doubt. A party will be in Paradise and a party in the Blaze. 7 And if Allah had pleased He would surely have made them a single community, but He makes whom He pleases enter into His mercy, and the unjust it is that shall have no guardian or helper. 8 Or have they taken protectors [or allies] besides him? But Allah - He is the Protector, and He gives life to the dead, and He is over all things competent. 9
