And the dwellers of the Rock certainly rejected the apostles; 80 And we gave them Our revelations, but they were averse to them. 81 And they used to carve from the mountains, houses, feeling secure. 82 Then the shout took hold of them in the early morn. 83 Then availed them not that which they had been earning. 84 We have not created the heavens and the earth and all that is in between them except with Truth. Surely the Hour will come. So, (O Muhammad), do graciously overlook them (despite their misdeeds). 85 Indeed your Lord only is the Great Creator, the All Knowing. 86 And certainly We have given you seven of the oft-repeated (verses) and the grand Quran. 87 Do not strain your eyes towards the worldly benefits We have bestowed on some of them, nor grieve on their account. Lower your wing of mercy for the believers 88 And say thou: verily I! I am a plain warner. 89 So We sent it down to the partitioners, 90 who have broken the Koran into parts, 91 so by your Lord, We will question them all 92 For all that they used to do. 93 Therefore declare openly what you are bidden and turn aside from the polytheists. 94 Surely We will suffice you against the scoffers 95 Who place other gods besides God. They will come to know soon. 96 We are well aware that you are disheartened by what they say. 97 Glorify and praise your Lord and be with those who prostrate themselves before God. 98 and worship your Lord until what is certain [death] comes to you. 99
