Seest thou not that We have set the Evil Ones on against the unbelievers, to incite them with fury? 83 (Muhammad), exercise patience; We have given them respite only for an appointed time. 84 The day We shall gather the righteous to (Allah) Most Gracious, like a band presented before a king for honours, 85 And will drive the criminals to Hell in thirst 86 People do not own the right to intercede, except those* who have made a covenant with the Most Gracious. (* The Holy Prophets and virtuous people will be given the permission to intercede. Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him – will be the first to intercede.) 87 And they say, 'The All-merciful has taken unto Himself a son. 88 Assuredly ye have brought a thing monstrous. 89 At it the skies are ready to burst, the earth to split asunder, and the mountains to fall down in utter ruin, 90 Due to their ascribing of an offspring to the Most Gracious. 91 When it does not behove the Merciful to have a son. 92 All those who are in the heavens and the earth will come to the Most Gracious as His bondmen. 93 Verily He knoweth them and numbereth them with (right) numbering. 94 And all of them are coming to Him on the Day of Resurrection alone. 95 Surely Ar-Rahman will show love for those who believe and do the right. 96 So, [O Muhammad], We have only made Qur'an easy in the Arabic language that you may give good tidings thereby to the righteous and warn thereby a hostile people. 97 And how many a generation have We destroyed before them! Perceivest thou of them anyone or hear of them a whisper? 98
