1/4 Hizb 50

۞ And when the son of Maryam is held up, an example, behold! thy people thereat cry out. 57 And say: "Are our aliha (gods) better or is he ['Iesa (Jesus)]?" They quoted not the above example except for argument. Nay! But they are a quarrelsome people. [(See VV. 21:97-101) - The Quran.] 58 He was no more than a servant: We granted Our favour to him, and We made him an example to the Children of Israel. 59 And had We willed We could have set among you angels to be viceroys in the earth. 60 AND, BEHOLD, this [divine writ] is indeed a means to know [that] the Last Hour [is bound to come]; hence, have no doubt whatever about it, but follow Me: this [alone] is a straight way. 61 Let not Satan hinder you (from believing in the Hour), for surely he is your open enemy. 62 And when 'Iesa (Jesus) came with (Our) clear Proofs, he said: "I have come to you with Al-Hikmah (Prophethood), and in order to make clear to you some of the (points) in which you differ, therefore fear Allah and obey me, 63 For God, He is my Lord and your Lord: so worship Him: that is a straight path." 64 But parties from among them differed, so woe to those who were unjust because of the chastisement of a painful day. 65 ARE THEY [who are lost in sin] but waiting for the Last Hour - [waiting] that it come upon them of a sudden, without their being aware [of its approach]? 66 Friends on that day shall be foes to one another, but the god-fearing. 67

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
