Surely We have sent down the Koran on thee, a sending down; 23 So wait patiently for the command of your Lord, and do not yield to anyone among them who is sinful or ungrateful; 24 And remember the Name of thy Lord at dawn and in the evening 25 and during some of the night, and prostrate thyself before Him, and extol His limitless glory throughout the long night. 26 Behold, they [who are unmindful of God] love this fleeting life, and leave behind them [all thought of] a grief-laden Day. 27 It is We Who created them, and strengthened their skeleton; and We can replace them with others like them, whenever We will. 28 This surely is a reminder: Therefore whosoever desires may take the way to his Lord. 29 But you will not unless God wills; surely God is ever All-knowing, All-wise. 30 He admits to His mercy whomever He wants. For the unjust He has prepared a painful punishment. 31
