Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
By the snorting courses, 1 by the strikers of fire, 2 then raid by the dawn, 3 and raising clouds of dust, 4 Arriving thereby in the center collectively, 5 Indeed mankind, to his Lord, is ungrateful. 6 And indeed he himself is a witness to it. 7 And lo! in the love of wealth he is violent. 8 ۞ Does he not know,- when that which is in the graves is scattered abroad 9 And the secrets of the breasts are made known, 10 Surely their Lord will be aware of their (deeds). 11
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
