Are ye harder to create or the heaven which He hath builded? 27 High has He reared its vault and formed it in accordance with what it was meant to be; 28 and darkened its night, and brought forth its forenoon; 29 And after that He spread the earth; 30 and then brought from it its water and pastures. 31 And stabilized the mountains 32 [all this] as a means of sustenance for you and your animals? 33 Then when the Grand Calamity shall come 34 upon the day when man shall remember what he has striven, 35 And hell will stand forth visible to him who seeth, 36 anyone who has acted arrogantly 37 and preferred the present life, 38 that blazing fire will truly be the goal! 39 However, those who had feared their Lord and restrained their souls from acting according to its desires. 40 Then surely the garden-- that is the abode. 41 They ask you about the hour, when it will come. 42 In what [position] are you that you should mention it? 43 Its final end is for your Lord. 44 You are only a warner for those who fear such a day. 45 On the day when they see it, it will seem to them as though they had only lived in the world for a morning and an afternoon. 46
