And recall when Moosa said to his assistant, “I will not give up until I reach the place where the two seas meet or until I have progressed for ages.” 60 But when they reached the junction between them, they forgot their fish, and it took its course into the sea, slipping away. 61 After they had passed the place, Moses said to his young companion, "Bring us our morning meal; we have indeed been fatigued by this journey." 62 He said, "Did you see when we retired to the rock? Indeed, I forgot [there] the fish. And none made me forget it except Satan - that I should mention it. And it took its course into the sea amazingly". 63 Said Moosa, “This is exactly what we wanted”; so they came back retracing their steps. 64 Then found they one of Our slaves, unto whom We had given mercy from Us, and had taught him knowledge from Our presence. 65 Moses said to him, "May I follow you, so that you may guide me by what you have been taught?" 66 [The other] answered: "Behold, thou wilt never be able to have patience with me 67 And how can you have patience in that of which you have not got a comprehensive knowledge? 68 [Moses] said, "You will find me, if Allah wills, patient, and I will not disobey you in [any] order." 69 He said: then if thou wilt follow me ask me not of anything until I begin thereof some mention. 70
