Muhammad (Muhammad)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
Those who disbelieve and bar from the way of Allah, Allah will cause their deeds go astray. 1 And (as for) those who believe and do good, and believe in what has been revealed to Muhammad, and it is the very truth from their Lord, He will remove their evil from them and improve their condition. 2 That is because those who disbelieve follow falsehood, and those who believe follow the truth from their Lord. Even so God strikes their similitudes for men. 3 Now when ye meet those who disbelieve, smite their necks until when ye have slain them greatly, then make fast the bonds; then, thereafter let them off either freely or by ransom, until the war layeth down the burthens thereof. That ye shall do. And had Allah willed, He would have vindicated Himself against them, but He ordained fighting in order that He may prove you one by the other. And those who are slain in the way of Allah, He shall not send their works astray. 4 He will guide them and amend their condition 5 and will admit them to the paradise which He has promised them. 6 O you who believe, if you help (in the cause of) God He will surely come to your aid, and firmly plant your feet. 7 But those who disbelieve - for them is misery, and He will waste their deeds. 8 That is because they hate that which Allah has sent down (this Quran and Islamic laws, etc.), so He has made their deeds fruitless. 9 ۞ Have they not traveled through the land and seen how was the end of those before them? Allah destroyed [everything] over them, and for the disbelievers is something comparable. 10 That is because God is the Protector of the believers, and that the unbelievers have no protector. 11
