The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat)
46 verses, revealed in Mecca after The News (Al-Naba') before Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
By those [angels] who extract with violence 1 By the meteors rushing, 2 By the angels who glide swimmingly, 3 and those that outstrip suddenly 4 And those who arrange [each] matter, 5 The day on which the quaking one shall quake, 6 and will be followed by the second one, 7 On that day hearts beat painfully 8 Eyes be lowered in submission. 9 (The disbelievers) say, "Shall we be brought back to life again 10 Even after we are crumbled bones? 11 They say: "It would, in that case, be a return with loss!" 12 But only, it will be a single Zajrah [shout (i.e., the second blowing of the Trumpet)]. (See Verse 37:19). 13 And suddenly they will be [alert] upon the earth's surface. 14 Hath there come unto thee the history of Moses? 15 When his Lord called to him in the holy valley, Towa: 16 Go to Firon, surely he has become inordinate. 17 And say to him: "Would you purify yourself (from the sin of disbelief by becoming a believer)", 18 that I might guide you to your Lord, so that you fear (Him)." 19 And he showed him the tremendous token. 20 but he cried lies, and rebelled, 21 Further, he turned his back, striving hard (against Allah). 22 and gathered his people and declared: 23 Saying: "I am alone your lord, the highest of them all." 24 you pay attention 25 In this, behold, there is a lesson indeed for all who stand in awe [of God]. 26

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
