The people of Nuh rejected the apostles. 105 When their brother Noah said unto them: Will ye not ward off (evil)? 106 Verily I am unto you an apostle trusted. 107 "So fear Allah, and obey me. 108 I ask of you no recompense for it, for my only reward is with the Lord of the Universe, 109 So fear Allah and obey me. 110 ۞ They replied: 'Are we to believe you whom the lowliest follow' 111 Noah said: "What knowledge do I have about their deeds? 112 Their reckoning rests with none but my Sustainer: if you could but understand [this]! 113 “And I will not repel the Muslims.” 114 I am naught but a plain warner. 115 They said: "If thou desist not, O Noah! thou shalt be stoned (to death)." 116 He said: my Lord! verily my people have belied me. 117 So pass a clear judgement between me and them and rescue me and the believers with me." 118 Wherefore We delivered him and those with him in the laden ark. 119 Then We drowned the rest afterwards 120 Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers. 121 Surely thy Lord, He is the All-mighty, the All-compassionate. 122
