Seest thou not those that dispute concerning the Signs of Allah? How are they turned away (from Reality)?- 69 Those who cry lies to the Book and that wherewith We sent Our Messengers -- soon they will know! 70 when, with iron collars and chains around their necks, they are dragged 71 and are dragged into burning despair, and in the end become fuel for the fire [of hell]. 72 It will then be said to them, “Where are the partners you used to appoint?” – 73 Besides Allah? They shall say: They are gone away from us, nay, we used not to call upon anything before. Thus does Allah confound the unbelievers. 74 That is because you exulted in the land unjustly and because you behaved insolently. 75 Enter the gates of hell to live therein forever. How terrible is the dwelling of the arrogant ones. 76 (Muhammad), exercise patience. The promise of God is true. Whether We let you witness the suffering with which they were threatened or because of your death (you do not see them suffering,), We shall still punish them when they return to Us (on the Day of Judgment). 77 Assuredly We have sent apostles before thee, of them are these whose story We have recounted unto thee and these whose story We have not recounted unto thee. And it was not possible for any apostle that he should bring a sign save by Allah's leave. So when the commade of Allah cometh, judgment will be given with truth, and then will lose the followers of falsehood. 78
