The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful

Al-Qari'ah (the striking Hour i.e. the Day of Resurrection), 1 How awesome the sudden calamity! 2 And what have you understood, what the event that terrifies the hearts is! 3 It is a Day whereon mankind will be like moths scattered about, 4 and the mountains shall be like fluffs of carded wool in varying colours. 5 Those whose good deeds will weigh heavier (on the scale) 6 shall live in a life which is pleasing, 7 And for one whose scales prove light, 8 his head will be in the Plunging 9 And what shall teach thee what is the Pit? 10 A Fire vehemently hot! 11

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
